The Coolest Guy in the Universe
You might be wondering why this post is called the coolest guy in the universe
I mean am I really that narcissistic???
well it’s simple really…
I’m competing in a popular SEO experiment and I’m doing pretty damn good!
If you check Google today you’ll see that I rank #1 for the keyword term: the coolest guy in the universe
But let me give you the backstory because as shallow as it all sounds there is more to it…
Back in (I believe it was November or December ’07) I started to realize that I was pretty freakin good at Search Engine Optimization so I entered a site in the contest for the coolest guy on the planet
It was originally just going to be for fun and games to see how well I could do, so guess what I did?
Absolutely nothing until almost March. Well in March I started doing a few things, mostly off page optimization (link building and that sort of thing) but in June I really started to get serious about it.
Well the bottom line is I’m not ranked #1 for “coolest guy on the planet” but I am ranked #1 for “coolest guy in the universe”
So what “in the universe” am I going to do with this site?
Simple I don’t know and I’m not planning on giving much thought to it. I put it up to test my SEO skills and it proves they are not bad.
I put out an SEO course if you want to get your site to the #1 position. It’s called the Blackbook of SEO
I’m not really promoting it much now because I’m tied up with other projects but when you do hear about it, that is if you don’t join my membership, you will probably hear great things!
Anyway that’s about it for now. One thing I do want to do is put up some resources that will help save the planet. Because in my opinion it’s the coolest planet in the universe…at least it’s the only one I want to live on.
